MINISTRY/SPEAKING EXPERIENCE: Donna Renay Patrick is an anointed and sought-after workshop and conference presenter, author, musician, choir director, worship leader, and writer. Her teaching, ministry, and leadership experience spans over 35 years. She is passionate about worship education, and has been a speaker at workshops, conferences, and seminars in churches in Texas and other parts of the country. In March of 2013, 2015, and 2016 she was selected as a presenter at the Bay Area Sunday School & Church Workers Convention (BASS), in Castro Valley, California, where she facilitated workshops in various facets of church worship ministry, namely, Church Growth Through Worship Ministry and Taking Your Worship Experience to the Next Level.
CONTRIBUTING WRITER: She is currently a contributing writer for Kingdom Christian Magazine, and has written several articles for The Christian Index, the official publication of the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church. Her blog, found on her website, features articles, devotionals, and excerpts from her two books to encourage and uplift the body of Christ. On the invitation of the African American Lectionary, she wrote a commentary to coincide with the September 2013 Worship & Arts Sunday celebration (Worship and Arts Sunday – Lectionary Commentary).
DEGREES AND CERTIFICATIONS: Donna earned a Bachelor of Science in History and Secondary Education from Bishop College in Dallas, Texas. In May of 2011 she received her Master of Arts in Christian Education from Dallas Baptist University. She received her personal trainer certification from the International Sports Sciences Association, and completed her paralegal education at the former Southeastern Paralegal Institute.
PUBLISHED AUTHOR: Her first book, At All Times (Westbow Press, 2012), is a devotional written to inspire and encourage believers toward a deeper understanding of praise and worship. Her second book, It’s In Your Praise! (H.O.P.E.) (Westbow Press, 2015) is a devotional and study guide designed to encourage personal reflection concerning our current perspectives on praise & worship.
RADIO HOST: As host of The Donna Patrick Show on The Fishbowl Radio Network, she uses internet radio before a global audience to spread the message of making praise and worship a lifestyle. The show airs live every Monday at 1:00 p.m. Central Time. We talk all things praise & worship, and discuss topics laser focus-specific to worship ministry that the church hesitates to confront.
MINISTER OF MUSIC: Most recently she has served as Minister of Music at the Hill Chapel CME Church in Plano, Texas, and as staffed musician at The Christian Chapel Temple of Faith CME Church in Dallas, Texas. She currently serves churches all over the D/FW area as Worship Leader and musician, encouraging next-level commitment to ministry.
